If you want to see our line of classic European handbags & panniers in person, we'll be at the Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse on December 16th, 11 to 5pm. Not sure what to get for the cyclist in your life, gift cards are always a great idea.

]]>I'm preparing for the holidays and we've got a Christmas pop-up at the Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse on December 16th. You'll find us along with a collection of other lovely local vendors. Join us won't you? Ciderhouse is located at the 2487 Mt St Michael Rd, Saanichton. We'll be there from 11 to 5pm.
The pop-up is a great opportunity to discover our line of classic European handbags & panniers in person. They are meant for the bicycle and beyond, because life continues after the bike. You can do some pre-shopping online for the perfect panner here.
Bring your wallet and plan on staying a while. Sea Cider will be offering flights of their incredible cider and 2 bottles for $30! See you there!
If you're not sure what to get for the cyclist in your life, gift cards are always a great idea.
]]>We’ve got a handful of confirmed Pop-up events lined up this spring and summer. Each of the events revolve around the bicycle in some way. Next confirmed pop-up will be CarFree YYJ on June 18th, 2017.
Come celebrate the community of people and place that comes with carless streets. Join your neighbours and friends at this 3rd annual event where the people take to the streets! Find our booth, we’re giving away a $25 Gift certificate during the Car Free Day Event. Can’t make it to the event live no problem. To enter our giveaway, on the day, go to any of our social media sites: Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, use the hashtag #CarsAreSoYesterday and tell your friends why you love Le Vélo Victoria and you’ll be entered into the draw as well.
First up is the Saanich Bike Festival on April 23rd. Festival starts at 10:30 and you can get in on some group rides or just come to the main Celebration Site at the Saanich Hall at 770 Vernon Avenue. That’s where all of the pop-up shops will be, including Le Velo.
Route Maps, Celebration Station information and other festivities for the day can be found on the Saanich website.
As the seasons change so do the clothes we wear. Everyone can use a dash of colour and - let’s face it - the sun has taken its time to shine its spring face on us. Spring is the perfect time to spruce your bike fashion and match the season.
We’ve got a great line up of new bags and panniers that will complement your new spring wardrobe. Enjoy on-site discounts, not found online.
The Wanderlust carry all is built to last and designed to please. Inside you'll find everything a girl needs to get through her day; inner pockets for the items you want to keep handy and the room you need to carry all the rest.
It’s a great event to bring the whole family, enjoy a community bike ride to the celebration stations. Back at the festival, you’ll find a bike valet where you can leave your bike and enjoy some tasty nibbles and add some spring freshness to bicycle by picking up a new bag or pannier. See you there!
Being true to your own sense of style, especially on a bicycle, can be a challenge when your choices are so limited. We understand this very well, because we lived it. I can’t imagine going back to using utilitarian bags and panniers that don’t suite my taste or match my sense of style. We don’t want you to go through that either.
So we’ve prepared for the holiday season and we’ve got a selection of never-seen before bags and panniers, and a new line of ponchos for the stylish riders in your life. We’ve got men and women on our minds with our new collections.
If you’re looking for a warm shopping experience I’ll be having a pop up shop at our Head Quarters every Saturday building up to Christmas. And always enjoy an espresso, on us! Yes, we are crazy about making espresso!
Dates & time: Noon until 4pm
Appointments welcome. Email us at Sales@levelovictoria.co
If you've been thinking about getting a pair of our performance denim, it's a great time to come by and get some expert fitting advicel!

Susan Stokhof is the owner and founder of Le Velo Victoria. An on-line boutique specializing in stylish bicycle accessories.
Having spent 6 years without a car, Susan quickly recognized the challenges women face when using a bicycle as a form of transportation. In addition to an online boutique and traveling pop-up, Susan provides a vital voice in the push to normalize cycling in Victoria. From regular features on her blog about the citizen cycling movement (with a particular focus on women who cycle for transport), to sponsoring events that bring guest speakers to the island to inspire and inform.
Most importantly, Susan’s website presents powerful, rarely seen images of bicycle normalcy, in a region where sport and recreation still reign supreme.
“We’re attempting to promote a lifestyle we want to see. The more people buy into the idea that cycling is a normal activity that millions partake in every single day, the more likely we are to build better cycling infrastructure. I believe we need to be the change we want to see”. With this in mind, Susan started Le Vélo Victoria where they provide elegant solutions for everyday cycling challenges.

This is Esmee, she's my girl and she absolutely loves the cookies. I know, she's a Labrador and, yes it's true, they eat anything that seems to be like food. So you may think she's be a bit unreliable in the sense that she'll eat the treat whether it tastes good or not, but not so, she is a Lab with discerning taste. In the cookie department, if she eats it, it's delicious. So bring your dog too!
