Temptation Tuesday- Oblong Bike Basket

Temptation Tuesday is all about introducing you to some of the fantastic products we have available this summer. These Oblong Bike Baskets are one of our favorites for two reasons:

Each basket is hand made by women and men in Africa. The Elephant Grass is hand woven and dyed to create these beautiful baskets making them durable and naturally water resistant. When you purchase a basket, a portion of the proceeds go back to the towns where these people are from to fund school for the local children. 

If that is not enough for you, lets talk about functionality. These baskets are beautiful and so colourful but they will also prove to be a perfect accessory for your summer fun. All the baskets fit firmly to the front of your bike and come in a variety of sizes. You can fill the basket up with all the beach necessities and ride your bike to the beach. Once your at the beach, undo the straps and take your basket right down to the beach with you!
