Happy Rainy Days Fabric Information
Washing instructions
HappyRainyDays rainwear can be washed at 30 degrees, without spin-drying. We recommend that you do not use a washing powder but a technical wash for waterproof products (which can be found at any outdoors shop that sells waterproof products), will ensure the continuation of our rainwear’s water-repellent and breathing properties. In order to retain the colours we advise that you wash the clothing inside out and alone. We also recommend that you only wash your rain cape when it is absolutely necessary.
Dry
We also advise that you do not dry your rainwear in the dryer. For best results simply hang it out to dry.
Fabric use
HappyRainyDays spent a long time searching for the ideal composition of cheerful fabrics. The fabric had to comply with the ambition of being both 100% rainproof as well as breathable rainwear. Furthermore, it had to be comfortable. In HappyRainyDays rainwear you can deal with any prolonged rain shower! You can take a brisk walk or cycle tour, without the clothing dampening from the inside due to perspiration.
Fabric outside
The outside of the rainwear is made of 100% nylon (not only breathable, but also more environment-friendly than a pvc coat) while the backside of the fabric has an additional coating, making the garment guaranteed rainproof. The same coating makes the material windproof, to prevent cooling off, and to prevent the accumulation of heat. Technically, the fabric has values of 5000/5000, meaning that it can resist the pressure of a water column of 5000 mms – which is absolutely waterproof - and has a vapour permeability of 5000 grams/m²/24 hours – very well breathing.
Taped seams
All seams have been taped, this means that the back of the seams has a ‘glue strip’ which prevents water from seeping through. In short: With HappyRainyDays you can easily cycle and take long walks during prolonged rain showers.
Fabric on the inside
All hats have a 100% cotton lining for extra comfort.
